Who we are
Primary Bridge is a product of Coded Compass Ltd. We provide a curriculum-aligned homework guidance platform for UK primary school families, operating under the name Primary Bridge at primarybridge.co.uk.
Our Data Controller is Albert Biggs. For any data-related queries, contact us at albert@primarybridge.co.uk.
What data we collect and why
Primary Bridge is designed with family privacy at its core. We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the service.
- School PIN codes, which are used to verify a family's connection to a participating school. We do not link PIN usage to individual parents or children.
- Anonymised usage data to help schools understand where families need the most support. No individual family is identifiable in this data.
- Contact information submitted voluntarily through our email links, used only to respond to your enquiry.
We do not collect names, addresses, or identifiable information about children. Parents are never required to create an account or provide personal details to access homework guidance.
Our legal basis for processing
We process data under the following lawful bases as defined by UK GDPR:
- Legitimate interests for anonymised analytics used to improve the service and support schools.
- Consent where you voluntarily contact us by email.
- Contract for schools and institutions that enter into a licensing agreement with us.
How long we keep data
Contact enquiries are retained for up to 12 months and then securely deleted unless an ongoing relationship requires otherwise. Anonymised analytics data may be retained for longer to support service improvement, but cannot be used to identify any individual.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We never have and we never will.
We may use trusted third-party processors to operate the platform (for example, hosting providers). Any processor we use is bound by a data processing agreement and is required to handle data in accordance with UK GDPR.
We do not share personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data (the right to erasure)
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis
